    Although many people might think that this is an editor’s codec only, it works for any QuickTime based ap.

    I was only going to say, “that includes After Effects”… but QuickTime based movies are now supported in Photoshop too!

    You should make some content covering the dreaded AVCHD.

    Off the top of my head, I don’t know if there’s a method to remove interlacing before importing to Photoshop without going through some other application. If NS has a one-button answer, could be great.

    INT. OFFICE – LATE NIGHT

    A struggling ARTIST sits in front of a battered old laptop, his HV20 with faux 24p sitting next to him anxiously awaiting a relief from the arduous chore of manual pulldown. The colors on the crappy LCD screen blur as he stares at the blinking cursor on the blank page.

    The ARTIST clicks over to his Internet browser and launches his favorite film blog page, “filmmakingcentral.com”.

    The ARTIST types “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!” into a comment and clicks submit.

    Suddenly inspired, the ARTIST returns to the blank page and begins typing quickly!

    FADE OUT

    Help me speed up my workflow so that I can get all the cliche films out of my system while I’m still young! :)
