LOVE these videos. Discovered them on 5min.com. I am new to all of this but have been making short videos with MovieMaker for ages and decided to take the plunge and do som ereal editting. Your vidoes came at the right time. Thanks for making them so simple and basic…

    However, one suggestion…

If you are using a program like Camtasia for screen caps (I dont think they have a Mac version, but whatever the equivalent is) could you use some of the zoom and pan features to focus in on some of the items you are working on on the screen? It is no big deal, I still understand but sometimes it may be helpful.

Thanks again for your helpful vids!

What do you do when your entire project is offline? this is common for me cause i’m always swapping drives. On FCP i can easily reconnect all my media by using the built in search and connect feature. Where as in CS4 i would have to connect up to 1506 clips manually… this takes too long… is there a quicker way? Please help me i hate this program and i’ve worked on (no joke) every non-leaner software… this one has been the hardest and worst to work with.

Hi Edwin, thanks for the comment! This is a feature that I have asked Adobe about. They will be addressing it I am sure soon.

As soon as I figure out a workflow on connecting multiple clips i will do another tutorial.

    cheers! Dave
