Sequence Clip Reporter prepares video and/or audio clip usage reports from a Final Cut Pro Sequence automatically, formatting them as Excel spreadsheets ready to submit.
Burbank, CA (August 10, 2009) – Intelligent Assistance, Inc has add yet another metadata workflow tool to their range: Sequence Clip Reporter. Sequence Clip Reporter is designed for producers or editors who have to generate clip or music reports of completed documentary programs.
Sequence Clip Reporter takes an XML export from your finished, edited Final Cut Pro Sequence and generates a video clip usage report; or audio clip usage report (for selected tracks). Both reports are formatted as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Sequence Clip Reporter generates an Excel Spreadsheet with:
Clip name;
Sequence start time;
Sequence end time;
Duration;
Path to Clip;
Description, Comment and Master Comment fields.
“Sequence Clip Reporter automates one of the more boring processes in postproduction – generating a clip report for music and video clearances,” says Intelligent Assistance’ President Philip Hodgetts. “Once again we’re proud to bring another feature from Avid’s Media Composer toolset to Final Cut Pro users, while improving the feature in the process.”
Reports can be further processed in Excel for formatting and additional detail, if required.
Sequence Clip Reporter joins Intelligent Assistance’s recently released exceLogger for merging Final Cut Pro XML and Excel spreadsheets for advanced logging and miniME for exploring and remapping hidden QuickTime metadata from Final Cut Pro XML to Final Cut Pro projects or Excel spreadsheets.
Sequence Clip Reporter is now available now from the Intelligent Assistance store for US$99 (MSRP). Until August 31, it is available for US$69. More information is available at http://theassistanteditor.com/Products/
