When I was a kid there was a string of disaster movies that came out. The Towering Inferno, Airport, and Earthquake. I saw Earthquake at the Chines Theater in Hollywood in what was called Sensurround. This new audio feature made the theater shake when the quake happened. And it made me run out, terrified that the world would end. Flash forward, I am now confronted with another massive disaster flick, 2012. And I cannot wait to sit in the theater. The effects look mind blowing. Hopefully I will be able to watch it now. After all I am all grown up!
