Wacom Intuos 3

August 27, 2008 by Dave (Who am I?) · Leave a Comment

I just can’t rave enough about my new Wacom Intuos tablet! For years I have thought about getting a Wacom tablet yet I procrastinated! What a waste of time! Since getting my Intuos 6×11 tablet I have used nothing else! I use it daily with modeling in Cinema 4D, with Photoshop, with Flash, and with After Effects. It just feels so much more natural using a pen instead of the annoying click click click of the mouse! Also my efforts are now much more precise. Prior to using the Intuos, I would work in Flash for example, and my vector drawing would look very computerized on the first run. I would then need to go in and pull and move the lines to give them a more natural feeling. Now my work is much more natural on the get go! I only need to use the smoothing tool in Flash occasionally now!

Some of the amazing features of the Wacom Intuos tablet are:

  • Very Easy to install and use! Just plug it into your USB port, install the drivers and off you go!
  • It works with over 100 software apps including Photoshop
  • The Pen is amazing! Its a cushioned grip pen with 1,024 levels of pressure and sensitivity!
  • The tablets are optimized for widescreens!
  • New strategically placed Express Keys and Touch Strip for programming shortcuts, scrolling and more!
  • The package also comes with a five button mouse
  • Wacom offers great support too!

I love this tablet and will never look back! If you havent tried one out yet visit their site for information. I give the Wacom Intuos tablet a whopping 5/5 stars and make it the official tablet of Filmmaking Central!
